Fresh bread
Rolls come in every morning. Yesterday's bread doesn't go on today's sub.
A neighborhood sub shop on Cleveland Ave that also happens to do shawarma, kafta, wings and burgers. Open late, every night.
Epic Subs started with a simple idea: one counter where a Philly steak sub, a chicken shawarma wrap, a dozen mango habanero wings and a falafel plate can all come out of the same kitchen, hot, at the same time.
The subs are the backbone. Classic builds like the CBR and the Italian, specialty builds like the Albasha Chicken with garlic and fries inside the roll, and seafood subs with cod or grilled shrimp. Every one comes as an 8" or a 12".
Around the subs sits the rest of the menu: wraps and pita sandwiches, burgers with coleslaw and Thousand Island the way they should be, shawarma and kafta plates with fries and a sauce, protein salads, and wings in five flavors. Everything is made when you order it.
Soft inside, a little crust outside, big enough to hold a Philly with everything on it.
Chicken and meat shawarma sliced to order for subs, wraps, pitas, plates and salads.
Garlic, chipotle, sriracha, teriyaki, habanero mayo, ranch, BBQ and hot sauce. Any of them on the side for 50¢ to $1.
10 am to 2:30 am Sunday through Thursday, till 3 am Friday and Saturday. We deliver.
Rolls come in every morning. Yesterday's bread doesn't go on today's sub.
Nothing is pre-built or kept under a lamp. When it's busy we add hands, not shortcuts.
A 12" is a 12". A falafel plate is a dozen pieces. Loaded fries are actually loaded.
We know our regulars by order. Come in twice and we'll probably know yours.
3405 Cleveland Ave, open late every night.
